Quilting 101- Batting and Basting
You've finished your quilt top, what are the next steps? Find out in this class on batting and basting.
I am so excited to share this class you!
This is my favorite quilt batting, and my preferred way to baste the layers together. I show techniques and examples with video and downloadable, clickable PDF documents.
As I new quilter, years ago, I had questions. Stacking and holding the three layers of a quilt together- the quilt top, the middle batting layer, and the quilt back- and getting them to stay together? That was next level stuff that I didn't really understand. While I was at it, I also had questions about quilt batting and what to use.
If you have the same confusion I did, this class will help you gain understanding and insight into how to pick batting, and how to create your "quilt sandwich".
